Association „Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association“ (hereinafter –
association) respects your privacy. All personal data collected by the association will not be sold
to the third parties. All data will be collected and protected by the EU General Data Protection
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 and other
legislation. In processing personal data, the association shall abide by the General Data
Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data, and other legal acts
regulating this area.
The association shall ensure the confidentiality of personal data in keeping with the
requirements of applicable GDPR legislation (hereinafter – legislation) and the implementation
of appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unlawful
access, disclosure, accidental loss, alteration or destruction, or other unlawful processing.
2. What kind of personal data do we collect?
If you agree to get the news in our website www.vca.lt , by contacting to us, by registering to the
associations „Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, by filling a form to
become the member of the „Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association“ you are
providing this personal information:
Personal identity data, such as name and surname
Company name which you represent.
Contact details, such as e-mail that we can contact you with.

Equity and Venture Capital Association“, you would receive emails regarding the news of our
members, our achievements, our future plans and initiatives to improve the PE/VC environment.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?
Your personal data is kept until the day when you ask to delete it. Data which was provided in
order to follow the association newsletter will be kept until you will be willing to get our
newsletter.

In order to terminate the newsletter you can press the link, which you will find in every
newsletter of the association. In order to terminate any information sent from the association’s
mailbox, you have to write an email to info@vca.lt.
6. Whom may we disclose your personal data to?
Your personal data can be disclosed to companies, which provide services to associations, e. g.
companies which provide newsletter distribution or events organizing services. All these
companies must ensure the same personal data protection policy, they can not use them for
illegal purposes and need to make sure their partners follow GDPR. If a dispute occurs, your
personal data could be given to a legal advisor.
7. Safety
Personal data is processed in a secure manner, using appropriate technical and organisational
measures which ensure appropriate security of personal data.
8. Events
If you participate in events organized by association you agree that photos, videos material,
which was taken during the association’s events can be post publicly. The tickets to events are
with your name. In order to change the attending people name you have to contact to
info@vca.lt. Organizers keeps a right to change agenda.
